- 1984-2021 The company was founded by Andrew Routsis, a degreed Plastics Engineer and adjunct professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, to fill a need for practical technical training in the plastics industry. Andy combined his years of processing, tooling, and maintenance expertise with his love of teaching to create hundreds of training courses. Always looking for innovative approaches to training, Andy helped the company evolve from a coventional consulting firm into a dynamic, multimedia training provider — beginning with VHS and Laserdisc, then onto Interactive CD-ROM and, finally, to Online Training.
- 1999-presentIn his role as Routsis Training’s Vice President and Senior Plastics Engineer, Daniel Stephens has authored multiple processing guides, hundreds of training courses and labs, and developed an array of innovative training solutions. Mr. Stephens created the company’s Professional Certification programs, which are now recognized worldwide. In addition, Daniel Stephens has authored dozens of articles for industry publications and regularly speaks at plastics industry conferences. He is also the inventor of many Routsis Training solutions — including RightStart™ workforce training, SmartTech™ on-site instruction, and the online Certification Portal platform.
